Disclaimer / Liability

Peerr will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), under statute or otherwise, as a result of or in connection with the Platform, for any: (i) economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or (ii) loss of goodwill or reputation; or (iii) special or indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as excluding or limiting the liability of Peerr or its group companies for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for any other liability which cannot be excluded by English law.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

If any provision(s) of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, then such provision(s) shall be construed, as nearly as possible, to reflect the intentions of the parties (as reflected in the provision(s)) and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Peerr’s failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision unless acknowledged and agreed to by Peerr in writing.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, nothing in the Terms shall create any rights or any other benefits whether pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise in favour of any person other than you, Peerr and its group of companies.

Information we collect

We collect Personal Data about you when you provide such information directly to us, when third parties such as our business partners or service providers provide us with Personal Data about you, or when Personal Data about you is automatically collected in connection with your use of our Services.

Account information for third party services: If you interact with a third party service when using our Services, such as if you use a third party service to log-in to our Services (e.g., Facebook Connect), or if you share content from our Services through a third party social media service, the third party service will send us information about you, such as information from your public profile, if the third party service and your account settings allow such sharing. It also includes educator/learner interaction data, such as which educators you’re following, quizzes published and attempted. How Do We Use Your Personal Data?

We process Personal Data to operate, improve, understand and personalize our Platform. For example, we use Personal Data to: Create and manage user accounts and profiles Personalize content on the Platform. This includes showing users their saved quizzes and quiz history, and providing quiz recommendations. How Long Do We Retain Your Personal Data?

We retain Personal Data about you for as long as you have an open account with us or as otherwise necessary to provide you Services. In some cases we retain Personal Data for longer, if doing so is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes or collect fees owed, or is otherwise permitted or required by applicable law, rule or regulation. Personal Data of Children: As noted above, we do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Data from anyone under the age of 16.

Storing Your Personal Data

In operating our platform it may become necessary to store and transfer data that we collect from you to locations outside of the European Union for processing and storing. By providing your personal data to us, you agree to this transfer, storing and processing. We do our utmost to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to make sure that your data is stored securely.

Unfortunately the sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send us electronically, sending such information is entirely at your own risk.

Marketing Communications

Peerr may send you promotional marketing emails with offers, discounts, branded content sharing details or information from our partners and associated companies including pharmaceutical and medical device companies.

Use of Cookies

For the platform to operate we use cookies to, for example, save login information, record when you have returned to the site, and during the payment processes.

For analytical purposes to record visits to the site, to see how visitors navigate through the site, and to record which pages have been visited. We may use third party cookies for this purpose.
